Today's young women lesson was How can I find faith in Jesus Christ? As I was preparing I ran across a wonderful idea on the LDS Teachers group on Facebook. (Wonderful source of ideas and suggestions!) So I took the idea and ran with it.
Before class- I found several quotes, poems, and hymns on faith, printed them out and hung them on the walls. I hung up some pictures of scriptures stories from the gospel art kit.
Class- I started by asking who in the scriptures had faith and why. We also talked about what faith means.

Then I gave the young women some time to wander around the room looking at the things on the wall, while filling out a worksheet. I also told them to write down any thoughts or impressions that came to mind. When they were they picked out a favorite quote and sat down in a circle.
We then used our quotes and worksheets to teach the lesson. Everyone took turns standing up and saying a sentence about faith or the atonement.
Then we talked about how faith related to the atonement. I ended class by reading the piano lessons analogy from the talk- His Grace is Sufficient by Brad Wilcox.
